2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote, place an order, or contact us, you may provide:

  • Contact details: name, company or agency name, email address, phone number, and job title.
  • Order and delivery details: delivery address and ZIP code, products and quantities, custom dimensions, delivery timing, and site access notes.
  • Buyer details: whether you are buying for a business, a government or public agency, or yourself.
  • Files you send us: site photos, drawings, and other documents sent by email. Photos can contain embedded information such as the location and time they were taken.
  • Communications: the content of emails, text messages, and other messages you send us, and notes from calls with our team.
  • Payment information: payments are handled by our payment processor (see Section 5). We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the payment method type and the last four digits of a card or account. We do not receive or store full card or bank account numbers.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers automatically collect:

  • Device and connection information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Usage information: pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, the website or search that referred you, and form interactions.
  • Advertising information: information about the ad you clicked to reach us, such as campaign identifiers and click IDs, so we can tell which ads lead to quote requests.

We collect this through website analytics, call tracking, and similar technologies (see Section 4).

Information from other sources

  • Call tracking: if you call a number shown on the Site or in an ad, our call tracking provider may collect information about the call, such as the calling number, date, time, duration, and the page or ad that led to it.
  • Analytics providers: reports about how people found and used the Site, generally in aggregated form.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Prepare and send quotes, process orders, and arrange delivery
  • Confirm your phone number and contact you about your quote, order, delivery window, and site access
  • Process payments and send invoices and receipts
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer service
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and the Services
  • Measure which pages, searches, and ads bring us customers
  • Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
  • Keep business, accounting, and tax records
  • Comply with the law and enforce our terms

We do not use the photos or files you send us in our marketing without your written permission.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

What we use

We use website analytics and similar technologies to understand how the Site is used and where inquiries come from. We also use call tracking to connect phone calls to the page or ad that led to them. These include:

  • Website analytics: Google Analytics collects information about pages viewed, interactions, and how you reached the Site. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Advertising measurement: Google Ads uses cookies and similar technologies to tell us which ads lead to quote requests. When you request a quote from one of our advertising landing pages, we also share your email address and phone number with Google in hashed (scrambled) form so Google can match the request to an ad you clicked (enhanced conversions). Google uses this only to measure ad results for us. You can adjust ad personalization at Google's My Ad Center.
  • Website hosting and spam protection: Cloudflare hosts the Site and uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our quote forms from spam and abuse. Turnstile evaluates browser and device signals when you submit a form. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Form processing: Formspree receives quote requests submitted through the Site and delivers them to us. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
  • Call tracking: to connect phone calls to the page or ad that led to them.

Your choices

  • Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies does not stop you from requesting a quote.
  • Industry opt-outs: you can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • Do Not Track: browsers' "Do Not Track" setting has no common industry standard, and the Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below.

  • Service providers that work for us, such as website hosting, email, phone, call tracking, customer relationship management, file storage, accounting, and payment processing. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Production and delivery partners: the companies that produce, load, and deliver your order receive what they need to do so, such as your name, phone number, delivery address, and site notes.
  • Payment processor: payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Analytics providers described in Section 4, to help us understand how the Site is used and where inquiries come from.
  • Legal and safety: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is needed to protect our rights, our customers, or others, or to prevent fraud.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes, including tax, accounting, warranty, and legal obligations. Site photos and drawings are kept with the quote or order record. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information
  • Stop using your information for targeted advertising, or for any "sale" or "sharing" as those terms are defined by applicable law

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you some or all of these rights, along with a right to appeal our decision. We will respond to these requests from any customer, wherever you live, subject to legal exceptions. For example, we may keep information we need to complete an order in progress, keep required business and tax records, or comply with the law.

How to make a request: email privacy@concreteblocksdirect.com or call (762) 224-7734. We will verify your request by matching information you provide against our records, such as your email address or phone number. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to verify your identity. We will respond within 45 days, and if we need more time we will tell you why. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Appeals: if we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing privacy@concreteblocksdirect.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to appeals within 60 days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state attorney general.

Email: we send email about your quotes and orders. If we ever send marketing email, each message will include an unsubscribe link.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the Site and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Children

The Services are intended for adults and businesses. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to websites and services we do not control, such as payment pages, maps, and social media. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

11. Where information is processed

We operate in the United States and serve customers in the United States. Personal information may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make material changes to how we use or share personal information, we will post a notice on the Site before the change takes effect, and where required by law we will ask for your consent.
